Wearable tech seems to have been preoccupied of late on glasses and watches, but MYO stands out from the crowd. An unobtrusive armband by startup Thalmic, MYO can wirelessly control your digital devices due to a series of electrodes that pick up on electrical activity in your muscles. Combined with motion sensors and hooked up to laptops, phones or tablets via Bluetooth 4.0 Low Energy, MYO can detect what gestures you are making with your hand. Priced at $149, MYO will ship later this year.
