Great response from Amber Teamann "The most important thing a school leader can do to support curriculum innovation (or ANY innovation) is to get into the "say yes" mindset. If there is a safety concern, then say no, but otherwise get in the habit of saying yes. If your building feels they can come to you with an out of the box idea, and you are going to support it, then you will begin to see little bursts of innovation & that spark will catch fire and SPREAD."

Good article to review by George Couros - as relevant now as it was a few years ago. "Things would obviously move a lot quicker if they had the support of their leader.  With that support, change can happen in an organization quickly, but if the leader does not “clear the path”, improvement will take a lot longer than it should."
