Colin Mason's curator insight, September 28, 2014 8:40 PM

By reading this article, I learned about the approach taken by a baseball agency to ensure success for both their prospect and the company as a whole. Basically the art of securing a prospect was broken up into four steps or goals and once one is completely acquired you would move on to the next goal. You must take the approach with caution and first you must gain trust. After their is a mutual trust between the player and agency, the player must feel like he needs the company, we agency needs to discover the needs of the player to help him move forward with his career. The third step would be to present the client with solutions to his problems. The last step is closing the deal, making sure that all needs and expectations were met and that the agency and client are both satisfied with the terms and conditions. This agency trains and prepares the sports agents to use these guidelines to preform and close deals hopefully leading to success. I selected this article because I am interested in the relationships between agencies and their clients and how exactly they work together to ensure a mutual and successful professional relationship. I am interested in pursuing this as a career choice therefore it is going to be helpful in the long run if I educate myself on the process of running a successful sports agency.

These days, startups are using cloud-based business apps to store tools for virtually all of their needs. These tools are optimized for the cloud and mostly paid for on a monthly basis. Best of all, they help the company reach and exceed its sales goals so that it can deliver quality products.
