No team deserved this more, and no team worked harder for it. The San Antonio Spurs have won the 2014 NBA Finals tonight at home versus the Miami Heat—a series that only lasted five games.

María Parajó Paul's insight:

The Spurs beat the Heat 104-87 and closed the final series by 4-1, so they achieved their fifth ring in U.S. basketball. 

Leonard finished with 22 points and 10 rebounds. He was elected the MVP of the finals.

The Australian, Mills, was immense  from long range with five three-pointers.

Manu finished with 19 points, 4 rebounds and 4 assists in 28 minutes. At 36 years old, he won the fourth crown in the most important league in the world.

Miami Heat fans continue to leave everyone shaking their heads, and not just because they left Game 4 early. The San Antonio Spurs once again controlled the game from the start...

Once again Miami Heat fans left the stadium several minutes before the end of the match as their team was losing by more than 22 points.
There are photos of an empty stadium minutes before the end of the match and also photos of the number of people outside the AmericanAirlines Arena when the game was not over yet.

Spurs settled the series 4-2 by beating the Thunder 112-107 and are champions of the Western Conference. 

Miami won by 117-92, closed the series 4-2 and go for their third straight title.

Manu Ginobilli will play his fifth final of the world's premier league against Miami Heat.

Oklahoma rolled over San Antonio and tied the series. It was 105-92 in a stellar night of Westbrook and Durant, who have brought together 71 points.

Now the West final is 2-2 and returns to Texas. 

The next game will take place on Thursday at 6pm.

San Antonio Spurs is just one step to get the title. It was 107-86 against the Miami Heat in game 4 of the finals, with another outstanding team performance level. LeBron James and company, puzzled. Tim Duncan became the player with more minutes played in playoff history
The series is 3-1 in favor of San Antonio Spurs at the NBA finals, thanks to another excellent performance of Kewhi Leonard and Tony Parker.

After LeBron James took over in Game 2, many believed it was going to take something special from the San Antonio Spurs to steal one in Miami.

María Parajó Paul's insight:

The series was tied 1-1. San Antonio pass to lead the series 2-1. They led throughout the game despite a comeback in the third quarter of the Heat. Leonard was the best figure with 29 pts. Miami lost many balls and were far from the defensive assignment shown in the previous game.

The key: the effectiveness of the Spurs in the first half (75.8%)

The Pacers won 93-90 against Miami with 37 points from Paul George and stretched to a sixth game the West final series, which is now 3-2 in favor of the Heat. Scola scored six points. LeBron James had a bad night.

The next game will be in Miami on Friday, when the Heat will try to win to access to the final for the fourth time.
