One thing that should guide your decision is what skills you have, not just what major looks appealing and interesting to you because you will generally enjoy doing what the job entails if you are good at it. Figuring out what your typical work day is ideal regarding the length of shifts, the environment, self-employed or working underneath someone, casual or fancy is an important step in the process. It's also important to intern for a job that you're interested in so that you can experience what it would be like living out that specific career and be able to ask questions.

This is a very useful article about college essays and their prompts. Many colleges now have a small range of prompts an applicant can choose from. He explains how this limits the creativity that could be used to the applicant's advantage. College's really just want to know, personally, who is applying to their school and the essay is the only way that the student can distinguish themselves.

This website focuses on what being a registered nurse is all about. It talks about what is required of you and what your job focuses on. The main purpose of an RN is to care for patients and to provide treatments. He or she needs to examine the patient and be able to come up with a diagnosis in order to carry out the treatment. Registerednurses work around the clock to care for patients and they make sure that the patient's family is educated and knows how to help quicken the recovery of the patient.
