Pro :  Calm, slow, gentle music was shown to produce the most positive results and facilitate relaxation and pain reduction in patients. Data proposes that music could be beneficial in reducing cost and length of stay in intensive care units.

Con: This is still a very new form of therapy and does not have the proper reasearch to convince the large amount of skeptics. Music therapy does not have a the strongest repuation and will need to continue in order to have increase their treatments and patients level as well has further proving its success rate.
