Music Together is on orginazation that teaches children how to make and understand music from the time they are just infants. This article explains how authors took already known Music Together songs and put them into a sing-along book. By putting pictures and words to songs they already know, children are able to start making literacy connections through the sound before sight theory.

Saturday's trip was extra special for little Jessica and Garrick because a string quartet from the Jacksonville Symphony Orchestra came with their instruments.

This artical speaks to the importance of creating literate children though the help of music. By playing live music to go along with a simple story telling session, children are able to make deeper connections between the words they are hearing and the actual meaning of the story.
