THE big guns boomed, cymbals crashed, bells tolled, and even mother nature got into the act with some complementary lightning and rain for added apocalyptic ambience.

This is just a small example of the world that can be opened up to students who take an interest in music. Over 90 musicians, mainly high school students, perform one of the most recognisable pieces of music ever written. All with World War II era guns firing in the background. Pretty exciting stuff!
