TomorrowWorld is a festival that is an expansion of Tomorrowland.

However, instead of being in Belgium during the summer, it is made in Atlanta at the end of September.

In this article, the author is comparing the two festivals. They say that in TomorrowWorld, the food quality is better and people living in the camping area have access to a better hygienic area such as clean bathrooms.

Robinson Collazo's curator insight, December 11, 2013 10:01 PM

The size of this event has in particular has grown so rapidly that it honestly took everyone buy surprise. This was the first year that this festival name has step foot in the U.S. and it made shocking number. The event its self brought somewhere around 100,000 people all traveling from across the globe.

Con: At this years event I had realized something about the stage production. The stage they had used this year was the same stage they had used the previous year at one of the companies other festivals. I’m my opinion if I’m spending a large amount of money to attend this event I want to see something I have never seen before to and get my moneys worth.

Josh Romero's curator insight, February 12, 2015 9:54 PM

When EDM concert "Tomorrowland" came to Atlanta, Georgia for the first time to hit U.S soil, it was one of the biggest events to hit the genre. This article describes how over 100,000 people went to the event and describes the food, the living area and the showering area. The article also states that before the 3 day weekend festival began the tickets were sold out. All 180,000 tickets were sold out within seconds on the website that was up for the sales.

Noah Anderson's curator insight, November 13, 2016 5:42 PM

Big names like Steve Aoki, Hardwell, David Guetta, and DJ Snake performed at this festival. The result of an incredible demand for the continuation of the decade-old festival from Belgium.

Ultra Music Festival bans minors

Organizers said limiting the event to 18 and over was ‘made to reinforce and promote the safety of all Ultra Music Festival fans.’

Philippe Olivier Camille's insight:

In this article, the author explains why the Ultra Music Festival committee as decided to ban minors from the event.

Due to some incident that happened in 2014, the festival will only be 18+ from March 2015. They made this decision to protect the attendees and to make the festival safer.

I personally think that this is a good decision because children attending Ultra Music Festival were exposed to drugs and alcohol too early.

In this article, the author touches the point about why minors are being banned from Ultra Music Festivals and how the UMFs are trying to protect and promote the safety of their festival goers.

It is credible because it has the author name, how to contact him, the date it was published, correct citations and it has copyright.

Joshua Ferguson's curator insight, November 9, 2014 6:53 PM

I think that this decision is good as far as safety, but I'm not to sure about the revenue it will bring in. Banning minors cuts off a lot of Ultra  participants and I assume it would make a substantial dent in the revenue.

Brian Barbosa's curator insight, April 19, 2015 1:04 PM

Since 1999 this World Famous Music Festival has allowed all ages to buy tickets and enjoy the show. Due to accidents in the past, the Festival wanted to promote and enforce safety of the guests. The city of Miami also wanted to ban the festival, but agreed to keep it in Miami just as long as they could provide more police officers, build better fencing and set up mental-health and drug stations operated by health professionals. They also tried promoting a zero tolerance policy on possession of or intentions of selling drugs. Overall they want to make the people that go have a better experience, in order to provide that better experience they banned kids from being able to get  into the festival.

Ultra Music Festival is quickly expanding all over the globe. The fifteen year old music festival is beginning to bring some of the hottest new dj's and artist in edm. With record breaking attendance of 330,000 they are still growing and expanding what they are doing.

Setting a new attendance record instills hope and relief in that live music is still sought after by the masses, and that it can still capture the hearts of the common person.
