Streaming in the music industry is consistently growing.  Festivals around the globe have join in the effort to promote themselves by using online streaming services to entice viewers to attend the festivals.  According to Evenbrite, a ticket company who conducted a Harris Poll in the early Summer of 2014, 69% of millenials declared that they were more likely to attend a festival after viewing a live-stream.

Live music festivals are a wonderful place to be, but sometimes are inconvenient and downright expensive.  Now music fans around the world can have access to music festivals for free via digital streaming services such as YouTube.  There's nothing quite like experiencing a concert live, however the technology and quality of streaming services is constantly improving.  C3, a company that puts on such festivals as Lollapalooza, stated that their streaming viewers have, "reached the high millions."  Although some artists are not fully convinced, live streaming of music festivals is an excellent way to reach a larger audience.

Dailymotion launches an online service that will display an eclectic mix of the best live performances from July through August of 2013.  Viewers not only have the ability to watch these performances, but can also share them with other potential viewers by embedding the media on social media outlets of their choice.
