Maimi Taught, 1993's comment, June 21, 2012 3:03 AM
Your ideas are great and very enthusiastic. However, your terminology allows to feel and understand your newness, and I'm happy to hear another educator or facilitator?, express what's working for their students, because this is what this is about, no? I'm happy to have be trained and grown up in the process of the Multiple Intelligences Theory, via Howard Gardner, trained from my first elem class how to integrate(the traditional word for Blending), and that I'm able to blend ALL subjects, all grades, with the arts, MI, learning styles, differentiation and individualization with more than 45-50 students in a class. How did they blog? : ) They did... And they happened to blog to children in China, as penpals, at that time, where I, facilitated what, when, how, and where, as they were happy to print out and share, using their integrated(Blended) curriculum for writing in their blogs, in order to get global input. This was 1993, 1994, 1995, 1996? I'd say that's traditional by 2012. Remember, we serve others in order to serve each other to serve our students. It's NOTHING about us...: ) Good luck and may you find yourself within your students and remain open to change. : )
