I think it was a good move buy both Spotify and Sony to partner up with each other. This will lead more people to purchase a Playstation and subscribe to Spotify respectively. When someone is at a store purchasing a gaming counsel and cannot decide between the XBOX ONE and PS4 they may lean more towards the PS4 because they can get all there music on it. For those that already have a PS4 they may feel more inclined to subscribe to Spotify. This article was a good read.

The mother of media players, iTunes, is still the central hub for sending multimedia content to any Apple device you might own, be it an iPhone, iPad, or Mac. But as Apple attempts to integrate its software and services in OS X Yosemite and iOS 8, iTunes is perhaps the one major piece of the puzzle that's still left behind. Via Christophe Peckeu
