Music in schools let any student be involved in music without having to pay for lessons. While school budgets keep decreasing the time in classes and lay off teachers. The University of Toronto did a study on 6-year-olds, and tested their IQ levels before and after with and without music. The children in music classes had higher IQ levels. Music helps expand to other regions of learning in the common classes.
