Students can begin to tune the lesson out when their not being engaged. This can be seen as rude and disrespectful, but it may just be that the child does not understand the material in the way its being presented. This article lists the different types of learning styles, the way those styles learn best, the history of multiple intelligences, a test to find your best learning style, and many other resources.
