The White Masai tells the story of a woman named Carola. On her vacation to Kenya she fells in love with a Masai, despite the fact that she is traveling with her boyfriend. She decides to leave him, and stays in Kenya to start a life with Lemalian, the Masai. She experience  many difficulties when having to adapt a foreign culture. Lemalian has a whole different view of how women should behave, and they disagree on many things of how things should be done. At the end she relize that she can't keep living this way. She leaves Lemalian, and brings her newborn, african baby home to Germany.

I believe this is a wonderful way of making the children understand the value of diversity. If all people looked the same, how boring would not life be? It is important for the children to learn about this in an eraly age, to prevent racism in the future.
