Setting small goals for yourself may help motivate you more. Also, having a plan and writing it down also helps. It's always best to not put a tremendous amount of pressure on yourself from the beginning. Thinking about your goal and how happy you will be once you attain it will motivate and inspire you to work towards it.

Erin Panaciulli's curator insight, September 6, 2014 8:51 AM

Gosh, I've had so many people tell me they aren't motivated lately. I have times that I'm not either, but I just get up and do it and that great feeling comes later. "Since motivation will not zap you like electricity, try this instead." Read below for more.

How To Overcome Self-Doubt And A Lack of Motivation

How To Overcome Self-Doubt And A Lack of Motivation | Motivation & régime | Scoop.it

This morning I didn’t feel like doing anything. It’s a combination of overtiredness from a few days of hard work, and a lack of sleep last night.

I couldn’t motivate myself to do anything important this morning, which is a rare thing for me. And I just felt bad in general. I started to doubt myself, and wonder whether anything I do is worthwhile.

I sat here in this funk and wondered how to get out of it. Should I just forget about today? Should I just give up what I do, because I’m not as good at it as I thought I was?
