Pope Innocent 3

Pope Innocent was one of the most powerful and influential popes in the history of the papacy. He exerted a wide influence over the Christian regimes of Europe, claiming supremacy over all of Europe's kings. Pope Innocent was central in supporting the Catholic Church's reforms of ecclesiastical affairs through his decretals and the Fourth Lateran Council. This resulted in a considerable refinement of the Western canon law. Pope Innocent is notable for using interdict and other censures to compel princes to obey his decisions, although these measures were not uniformly successful. The pope called for crusades against militant heretics like the Cathars as well as Muslims.

William the Conqueror

William the conqueror was duly named, Before his rule there was ongoing warfare in England due to constant rebellions by barons. William the conqueror was the first to unify England as a general, and was loved by the people so much for it that he was made king. While he was king William had a complete census taken of all of the fiefs and land owned by the kingdom. This was compiled into the "Domesday" book which helped other kings and popes to have an efficient tax system.

Otto 1

Otto 1 was a significant emperor of the holy roman empire. because of his close dealings with the church, he avoided a struggle for power with the pope. before he was emperor, Otto also defeated many rebellious roman nobles (much like the barons in William the Conqueror's case)
And unified Rome. Otto was the first to be called a "holy" roman emperor because of his strictly religious ways.
