Exposure to Rhythm (hearing a beat and moving to a beat) can also help the vestibular system develop, which is responsible for balance and co-ordination. This is to do with the ear, not the brain, but still contributes to development.

Thay Hexiao's comment, February 26, 2017 6:49 AM
I personally do not think that technology has helped me much in learning. I think that learning takes even more time for me as I am not a technology savvy person. Using technology in learning sometimes will make me waste a large amount of my time just trying to figure out how to perform certain actions using Ipad, computers, which is not very effective. I feel that it is still better to learning together with classmates and having interactive elements in class, as everall the learning environment and the atmosphere is different form using technology to learn and promotes learning.

12 Principles Of Mobile Learning

12 Principles Of Mobile Learning | Mobile Technologies and Literacy | Scoop.it

"Mobile Learning is about self-actuated personalization. As learning practices and technology tools change, mobile learning itself will continue to evolve. For 2016, the focus is on a variety of challenges, from how learners access content to how the idea of a “curriculum” is defined. Technology like tablets PCs, apps, and access to broadband internet are lubricating the shift to mobile learning, but a truly immersive mobile learning environment goes beyond the tools for learning to the lives and communities valued by each individual learner."

Pedagogy Should Always Precede Technology: SAS Curriculum Pathways' Mobile Learning | Mobile Technologies and Literacy | Scoop.it

"When people talk about programs to replace face-to-face teaching and learning experiences (my classroom!), I start to squirm. I started Mobile Learning, a book written collaboratively by SAS Curriculum Pathways, with a healthy dose of skepticism; however, I was soon won over because there is a respectful balance between the promotion of mobile learning and the necessity for sound pedagogy."

Mobile Learning: No Longer About the Technology, but About the Learning

Mobile Learning: No Longer About the Technology, but About the Learning | Mobile Technologies and Literacy | Scoop.it
A transition, quietly but most assuredly, has occurred: Today, in 2016, discussions under the heading "mobile learning" are becoming more about how "all-the-time, everywhere learning" can be supported with "mobile" technology than about mobile devices and apps. That transition has huge pedagogical implications!
