17 Little-Known Tips, Tricks and Hacks for Using Google in the Classroom   | Mobile Learning | Scoop.it

That was just one of the many extensions, add-ons and hacks for the Google ecosystem shared at a pair of sessions packed to the rafters at the Spring CUE 2018 conference in Palm Springs, Calif.

Narissa Lambert's curator insight, May 30, 4:16 AM
Awesome tool for creating 3D digital images and it's free! This is a great way students can digitally represent their creations online. For an assessment piece, students can create their own recipe book in the form of a blog throughout the term. When they upload images of their food creations they can use this tool to turn them from 2D to 3D then insert them into their posts. What a cool and clear way for the audience to see the intended end product, then they can leave comments on how their own turned out in comparison.

Tanya Krause's curator insight, May 30, 5:08 AM
Wow... this is awesome. I am also imaging this in a Food Tech class in the near future. Instead of producing the product, students create 3D images from their 2D designs.

Some look like us and others are symbols or graphical representations of us. It is important we get our students to create digital avatars and reflect on their digital identities.... Below, are free web tools and apps students can use to create avatars. Find activities and tips in this post for Sprout English."
