As an undergrad in Southern California, a classmate and I created a photojournal project on the San Diego-Tijuana border, with the voiceover of a friend relating his experience crossing the border with a coyote at the age of 17. After so many moves, that project is long lost - and I still wish I had it! 

 

I have many opinions of "The Wall" as a deterrent to undocumented immigration, and, frankly, none of them are good. There has got to be a more humane solution.
