In addition to resources for teachers and parents, the AnxietyBC website is very youth-friendly and includes a "quiz" to measure anxiety as well as a test of understanding about anxiety.  This is a very good website to facilitate a discussion about anxiety, but the information is useful for all!

The Centre for Addiction and Mental Health website contains educational material presented in a no-nonsense way.  This is a good place starting point for the Talking about Mental Illness (TAMI) program. The enormous alphabetized glossary of mental health terms, medications, and disorders is also useful.  And, under "Health Information for Children and Youth" is a list of books for kids, like Can I Catch It Like a Cold?
