MBWSU95's insight:
This article is very critical to read for anyone living in this country. Language is the driving force behind how individuals formulate their opinions on certain subjects/issues. This author draws on the notion of how powerful language can be. When individuals of influence like government officials and others relate mental health illness to being "weak mind" a problem is further embedded into society. The stigma around this issue is something that can be changed and we must address negative stigma as it is created.

The emphasis on stressing the importance of talking and creating a space for those to talk is where this clip solidifies its importance. Mental health awareness is essential when trying to present a plan for those who are suffering. This clip gives a visual that is unsettling, yet informative. One should have no problem taking away a strong feeling from this video.
