Children's Minister Tim Loughton said it was the state's duty to ensure decent, loving fathers were not "pushed out" of their offspring's lives.

He was wrongly accused of domestic violence, investigated by social services, arrested, put on trial and found not guilty on December 2011. A restraining order was requested but denied, and he was awarded all costs....

Israel has revoked a sexist law granting automatic custody to mothers in divorce on the recommendation of the UN. Women's rights campaign acknowledge the law is sexist but oppose the move saying "only when true equality exists between the sexes in Israel will we be able to discuss canceling this law......"
