And you thought Mighty No. 9 would be the closest thing to Mega Man you could fund on Kickstarter.

Really? It sounds like a desperate effort from Capcom to gain popularity over Keiji Inafune' s new project: "Mighty No.9"

Since Inafune left Capcom every project that involved Megaman on its story was canceled like "Megaman Legends 3" or "Maverick Hunter" and now Capcom think they will stand a chance against Inafune' s newest project with a board game? I hope that' s just me overthinking the situation...

 Like Jeffrey wrote in his work, I also think that Mighty No.9 has some (or many) similarities with the Megaman franchise. Even though both are made from Keiji Inafune, some things about them are very similar. Inafune says that those "similar" things come from his style and I think that' s great but I have my doubts about Inafune promising a really fresh and original game when the story, gameplay and drawing go beyond some "style" and start to look too much like something he already made.

 I hope he's doing that to retain his own ideas from Capcom and to bring a new and "homemade" game to his oldest (and maybe newest) fans.

 Although those things let's give Keiji Inafune our best hopes for success!
