Motion - Manipulating the Speed Formula to find Time or Distance. | Mathematics: Year 9 Measurement | Scoop.it
Anne TESCH's insight:

Read through and complete excersise on "Motion - Manipulating the Speed Formula to find Time or Distance," lesson plan, on motion and speed formula. (Note this lesson is important to remember as it relates to algebra equations.)

When using the speed formula, what are the three factors needed to calculate speed and what is the importance on carefully converting units?

The Speed formula can be rearranged to determine what time is taken to cover a distance. Provide formula to calculate time and provide a minimum of two examples when this formiula can be used in day to day activities.
