Marvelous Time Lapses .
Time-lapse photography is a technique whereby the frequency at which film frames are captured (the frame rate) is much lower than that used to view the sequence. When played at normal speed, time appears to be moving faster and thus lapsing. For example, an image of a scene may be captured once every second, then played back at 30 frames per second. The result is an apparent 30-times speed increase. Time-lapse photography can be considered the opposite of high speed photography or slow motion.

Its a concept that has been explored a lot before, I think this one is pretty unique, not focusing on stills, but very small video clips. It really ads a nice dimension, like the last two years she seems to talk a lot more than when she was younger, there is a whole element of the subjects personality that wouldn't come through in a series of stills.

Yosemite HD

This video is a collaboration between Sheldon Neill and Colin Delehanty. All timelapses were shot on the Canon 5D Mark II with a variety of Canon L and Zeiss CP.2…
Mark Vangoidtsenhoven's insight:

There are plenty of spectacular places on Earth, and Yosemite National Park in California is high on that list. There's no substitute for visiting in person, but this gorgeous time-lapse video comes close.
