Hong Kong Kids Design A New McDonald's - PSFK

Hong Kong Kids Design A New McDonald's - PSFK | MarketingHits |
A recent study produced by McDonald’s found that children in Hong Kong spend an average of 5 hours per day in private tutoring lessons. This left the fast food giant pondering when and how these children even had time to use their imaginations. As a result, they came up with the ‘I’m Amazing’ campaign, in which the fast food restaurant challenged children to use their imaginations by creating their ideal McDonald’s environment. The most compelling of the ideas would then be selected and produced into an actual outpost of the chain.
Brian Yanish -'s insight:

What a great campaign! Talk about getting the users input.  Earned media can be done, it just takes a great idea that usually involves the end user.
