The truth is most companies in South Africa today operate in the same manner and don’t realise it. When appearance and perception become more important than your original mission and vision, it’s time to start reviewing where you at…

 

Getting ahead of ourselves is just human nature so every now and then you need to put things into perspective and make sure you still on the right path… There are many different components of a successful business, obviously Marketing being a one of the key components.

 

During this economic state of the world, most businesses are thinking budget budget budget! So how do you build a brand without breaking the bank? Easy… don’t compromise on the absolute basics of servicing both your internal & external clients. That’s right, internal is as important as external. We often forget that great brands were never built by a single person but rather a collection of people we call a company.

 

Ever wondered what is being said about your business after the clock strikes 5? Before looking at what your external clients think of your brand, take the time to look within. Investing in internal clients is not a costly affair in terms of monetary value but rather in time. Investing time and value in your “own people” should definitely be an important part of your marketing strategy.

 

Remember a happy worker is a productive worker, brand loyalty from within is guaranteed to go a long way…Creating an engaging platform with your employees where they understand the business and are able to share your passion for the company’s offering will yield a return on investment in the long run and can most certainly contribute to building a lasting brand and legacy…

 

Loyalty might not be a big part of business today but sometimes we have to go back in order to go forward, in doing so we might be able to fix the “Nature of modern business”. Making changes in key areas of day to day business and finding a rhythm that every person in the organisation can follow…
