IU Southeast Orchestra Pops Concert (New Albany, IN) | Facebook | Louisville Classical | Scoop.it

The Music Department at Indiana University Southeast will present the IU Southeast Orchestra's annual Father's Day Pops Concert on Sunday, June 16, 2013 at 3:00pm in the Richard K. Stem Concert Hall of the Paul W. Ogle Cultural and Community Center on the IU Southeast campus, 4201 Grant Line Road in New Albany.

Tickets are $8 for adults, $5 for students, seniors, IU Southeast faculty & staff, and are available at the Ogle Center ticket office or by calling (812) 941-2526.

Under the direction of Dr. Joanna Goldstein, the program will feature the following works:

"Tribute to John Williams" - John Williams (adp. by Paul Lavender)
"American Salute" - Morton Gould
"Presidential Polonaise" - John Philip Sousa
"Lassus Trombone" - Henry Fillmore (arr. by Peter J. Felice)
"Alexander's Ragtime Band" - Irving Berlin (arr. by Mike Lewis)
"Suite from The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey" - Howard Shore (arr. by Douglas E. Wagner"
"Highlights from Jurassic Park" - John Williams (arr. Calvin Custer)
"Circus Galop" - John Philip Sousa
"Pirates of the Caribbean" medley - Klaus Badelt (arr. by Ted Ricketts)

Free parking is available in the Dogwood lot directly in front of the Ogle Center. Vehicles parked in other lots on campus will be subject to ticketing.
