In 2012, the new citymarketing logo for Brussels (Be Brussels) was developed by Base Design;

Mayhem over seals;
Earlier last year, the University of California quietly unveiled a new logo. A petition on Change.org — "Stop the new UC logo" — got over 54,000 signatures. The University held their ground for a week or so before capitulating. Read more via; http://sco.lt/5mOy49
