It provides expected professional conduct that is required from those seeking association and certification through them. Athletic trainers help in identifying sport related injuries, assist in the recovery of the athlete to achieve post injury state, as well as injury prevention. Therefore they are crucial to the rehabilitation process of an athlete and must place value in the individual over wanting to win.
