"Para las nuevas generaciones, la cultura digital está representada principalmente en los usos del Internet. Explorar la percepción que los niños tienen de sus competencias en el uso del Internet, supone retos a nivel metodológico y conceptual. El presente artículo desarrolla dos aspectos del estudio de los usos del Internet por parte de la población infantil: el enfoque la nueva sociología de la infancia y el uso de los métodos visuales. Se propone reflexionar sobre la relevancia de estos dos elementos en el proceso de acercarse a la heterogeneidad de experiencias de los niños en su interacción cotidiana con el Internet."

We do not block the internet. We teach digital literacy in all classes through the course curriculum, hold kids accountable, and have rigorous classes that require kids to do a boatload of work.
