Siouxland Libraries now has an app that allows users to access library resources on their mobile devices. The new app lets people use the library from their smartphones.

“They can use the catalog to find books and DVDs, as well as place holds on those items.”  “It’s like coming into the library and using the catalog, but on their phones.”

The app was created because of the increase in traffic to the library website from mobile phones.
