Nigeria at the moment faces high rise in insecurity, the diverse nature of it makes the challenge more worrisome. They are manifested in different forms terrorism i.e. the Islamic fundamentalist (Boko Haram), religious crisis, communal clash over boundary, Fulani herdsmen and their host community, vandalism, electoral violence, etc. It is of great concern that the escalating insecurity in Nigeria, matched with ineffective control, may destabilize Nigerian state.
