Here's my big question!  Is there any protection provided by the NY Legislature for the people who are victimized by those who abuse the Domestic Violence Laws.  What about the vast majority of men who are thrown out of their homes because the woman wants them out as a precursor to divorce?  I represented one poor fellow in Rhode Island who wasn't given a hearing for five (5) months.  It was absurd.  In the end I could prove that she committed perjury and made the whole thing up.  What happens to her?  She was picked up but then let go when they found out that the RI Domestic Violence laws only protected the complainant and didn't do anything if the complainant committed perjury, lied to the court and caused damage to another person by lying just to get the guy out of the house.

I'm tired of what has gone on with our domestic violence laws and I want people to know it.  I'm here to make a difference.  My job isn't divorce or just protection from abuse.  I'm here to help you and I'm downright determined to guide you to a Brighter Tomorrow as efficiently, economically and with as little stress as possible.  If it can be done in your case... I can do it!  This isn't just one thing I do... It's ALL I DO!  Attorney Christopher A. Pearsall - Caring About People!!!!  RhodeIslandDivorceCoach.com  @RIDivorceLawyer RhodeIslandDivorceTips.com

Tony Nicklinson fought for the right to die whilst he was alive. His family are hoping to continue his campaign and appeal the High Court ruling which said that he could not be helped to die. The long-established legal position is that "voluntary euthanasia is murder, however understandable the motives may be". This case challenges that ruling and is very important in the context of ethics and law in the UK.
