2-12 Sentence Paragraphs

Paragraphs

JaRaza Dawn's insight:

During the 1920’smany inventions were mad and they changed the lives of everyday Americans like us. Cars were made electricity became a need in American’s lives and leisure time was also another big thing. These things that affected them back then still affect us as Americans today. First was the car, which was made by Henry Ford for many Americans the car, became very popular and very useful for their everyday lives. With the car they could go on cross-country vacations or even just take a Sunday drive. Second came mass production, it was an even bigger part of cars because it too so long for them to be made when henry ford came up with the ideal of an assembly line it made production go even faster which lead to more cars being sold. Next another thing he offered to his customers was leisure time which meant they only worked so many hours and they got the weekend off to do whatever they wanted and to go where ever they wanted. Many people picked up sports as one of their past times. Then electricity came which made it possible for the washing machine to be made, dryers, irons, and other things. The availability lead to a widespread of all of these items plus more like refrigerators to keep their food cold so they would not have to travel to the butcher and get dinner every night. These inventions were mainly made for stay at home wives so it would make their housework easier and faster so at the end of the day they could have some leisure time as well. Finally advertisement leads to a widespread of lots of popular products to be bought. Advertisements tried to convince people that if they got the product they could be whom they wanted. All of these inventions had a major impact for Americans because it made it easier for them to do things such as travel, cook, clean, etc. Without these inventions that could imagine what our lives would be like today.

Inventions made before today have made changes to how we as people live our everyday live. First off its like now we can’t live without electricity or cars because without them many things would not be possible. First if we didn’t have electricity we would not have washing machines, dryers, irons, cellphones, on many other things that require electricity in order to work. If there was no electricity nobody would be able to function because they would have to do everything manually which something’s would require lots of hard work and dedication. Second with out cars people would have to walk everywhere, which would take most people forever because they like to travel to different places. Basically we would all be stuck in one place unless we decided to walk to a different state or city which like I said would take forever. Third if nobody had leisure time everything would be all work kids would work adults would work all day no weekends off. Kids wouldn’t go to school they would work just like their parents because they didn’t make much to support the family so the whole family would have to work. Fourth advertisement would not be needed because there would be nothing to advertise besides openings for jobs so people could get them.  Life would be the same everyday wake up go to work go home go to sleep and the same thing the next morning just for your whole life, it would just be wasted on work no fun out of it and no breaks. Fifth if we did have all of the inventions like the car it would take so long because we wouldn’t have and assembly lines in the factories. The workers would have to keep changing pieces to put on certain parts which would take forever and cars would sell fast but get don’t slowly. If these inventions were not made life would be very hard and very boring. There would be few educated people throughout society; for the most part I am glad they invented these things I don’t know how I would function.
