This article relates to chapter 8 in Human Geography because it provides insight on the idea of gerrymandering, which is a common topic in the discussion of political geography. Personally I think that this article providers a decent insight on the height that the influence of gerrymandering in elections has reached over the several electoral  years. I agree that gerrymandering needs to stop because someone's personal electoral vote should be based on their plan to take care of a country, economy, etc. Their vote shouldn't be based on personal past events that were exposed from other candidates unless it relates to the idea that backs their campaign.

This article pertains to gerrymandering and what America would look like without it. It relates to AP Human Geography because it deals with political geography. It talks of gerrymandering (manipulate the boundaries of (an electoral constituency) to favor one party or class). Without gerrymandering America would be a lot different... The voting statistics especially. I think gerrymandering is very effective to changing the voting party.
