Army Reserve Numbers Drop In Blow To MoD
Sky News
A sharp drop in the number of Army Reserve soldiers has called into question Government plans to put the part-time force at the centre of the future of the Armed Forces.
Tammy's insight:

Their was a sharp drop becasue everyone thought that if they joined the Army Reserves that they would be shipped off to another contry, so they dont bother talking to the Army Recruiter. When Asking what my friends thought about me thinking about joining the Army reserves they asked me if i wanted to die, and they didn't listen to any of the facts that i had.

Army reserves plan to close ROTC at North Alabama - Alabama's News Leader

Army reserves plan to close ROTC at North Alabama
Alabama's News Leader
The university has had a Reserve Officers Training Corps program for 65 years. The Army released plans last month to close 13 ROTC programs nationwide.
Tammy's insight:

I think they should keep the ROTC plan because there are many student that would want to join one of the branches of military but don't know where or how to state. The ROTC program is a great way for students to get some training that they will get during the military and get some facts about how they can join the military. I think closing the ROTC would be a mistake and leave students in the dark about how a choice they will have in their senior year of high school to either join a branch of the military or not.
