Ennis William Cosby was dyslexic: Ennis' Gift

"Ennis William Cosby was dyslexic. As a boy, he struggled to learn in school. And he didn't know why. Eventually, Ennis came to understand that he simply learned differently and that he could succeed in school. Succeed he did! In this film you'll meet actors, scientists, business leaders, a polar explorer, and dozens of others, both children and adults, who have one thing in common: they all have learning differences. These individuals refused to be limited by their difficulties or defined by the labels that were assigned to them. They, like Ennis William Cosby, found their gifts in their differences. - http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0238967"

"This film is about 50 minutes and is well worth your time. It was made some years ago following the Cosby family’s loss of their son. .."--Lou

Barbara Hunter's insight:

Interesting notion in all goal attainment.  The language we train ourselves to use appears to directly impact the outcome in some instances.  Food for thought....

Going Beyond Goal Setting - Change Your Life

Going Beyond Goal Setting - I just Googled the phrase “goal setting”, and found approximately 3,600,000 web pages that relate in some way to that phrase.
Barbara Hunter's insight:

Action is an important part of the plan....For some this may be where they stumble.  "I know WHAT I am suppose to do, I just can't get myself to do it..."  Having accountability to achieve even the first step toward the goal can help.  If that accountability does not reside within....find someone or something that will be an external accounability partner. Just Try.....
