We utilise the Apple TV's at our College. This guide lays out some more options that you may not have thought about.

 

One option that we use at Redlands College (http://ipad.redlands.qld.edu.au) is to use option three, but instead we hard wire it to the network. Utilising the Areohive network, we are able to broadcast across multiple VLANs. 

 

Of note, it seems Apple have released a way to connect the Apple TV to other networks types such as WPA2 Enterprise....  Yet to test, but this article covers the basics.

A new multitouch television is hitting the market at the end of this month and it's like a 55" iPad. In fact, it's got basically no bezel and could be stacked on top of each other to become a Voltron-esque Super iPad Wall.
