Hello Dropbox!

 

It took me a while but I finally realized that I could be using a Dropbox account for image hosting. It turns out that other users out there have similarly used Dropbox specifically for this sole purpose. Use "Mail Attachment Downloader" with DropBox | iRecommend | Scoop.it

Backup everything, backup often, and backup your backup. By sending my WordPress backup files to my free Dropbox account, I am taking care of step three, back up your backup. Dropbox files are local on both of my computers and in the Dropbox "cloud" wherever that is. I use the free "Backup WordPress" plugin to, what else, back up each of my WP sites. This plugin will send each backup file as an email attachment. I send them to my backup2dropbox gmail address.


To get the attached files to my Dropbox account, I use the free "Mail Attachment Downloader." CNET gives the program a positive review:
