Introducing the Haiku Deck Presentation Template Gallery

Introducing the Haiku Deck Presentation Template Gallery | Ipads | Scoop.it

With its integrated Creative Commons image search, one-touch formatting, and streamlined layout options, Haiku Deck already saves you ridiculous amounts of time. The brand-new presentation template gallery jump-starts your creative process even more — now it’s easy to save a template to your account and edit it, instead of starting from scratch.

Haiku Deck provides a clean and crisp user interface to craft a powerful presentation. The photo gallery is extremely large and gives a great deal of variety to users.

Having seen this tool incorporated into a SMLE on this week's discussion board I was curious. Now I'm impressed.

The new templates are impressive! I looked into Haiku Deck a few years back, but it seemed limited in terms of other presentation tools available. Now I see much more affordability in using the tool.

iPads in Teaching - What Are They For? - Ideas Out There

iPads in Teaching - What Are They For? - Ideas Out There | Ipads | Scoop.it

"This picture was drawn in response to a post called 'Drawing On A Napkin: Is This How iPads Function In A Traditional Classroom?' by the esteemed Terry Heick.

Mine was not drawn on a napkin, but on Notability. And, to answer that snarky Johannesburg based iPad trainer who cannot believe I can do what I do using the iPad, yes I did create it myself!

This is what I think iPads are 'for' in education. Let me know what you think."

Very good ideas and great evidence for the need for technology in the classroom.

Very interesting visual that summarises what iPads are 'for' in education.

Hook Students with QR Codes

Adding movement and layered technology into lessons can promote engaged critical thinking. Capturing students' attention in this age of realistic graphic computer games, instant messaging, and a stream of constant stimuli is a real art for any classroom teacher

Two Useful iPad Apps to Send Text Messages to Students ~ Educational Technology and Mobile Learning | Ipads | Scoop.it

"I got several requests asking for iPad apps to use to send group text messages to students and parents. I did, however, featured here in Educational Technology and Mobile Learning a few days ago a list of two useful web tools to use for this purpose. These are the tools I have been using myself and trust. I am sharing with you their iPad versions below. Share with us if you know about other apps to add to this list."
