How To : Visually Record Ideas Using an iPad

Visual recording is similar to audio recording: they both use the same concept that is : recording. One uses voice and the other uses visual cues like diagrams, charts, lines, arrows...etc. Think about visual recording as visual mind mapping.

This is Visual Recording and NOT (in this case) Visual Facilitation

A quote from a beta tester: "I used Maptini with three of my coworkers to brainstorm and design a product feature set. I was amazed at how easy it was for all of us to add features simultaneously, and how much it helped guide and structure our discussion. It was such an effective tool for sharing ideas -- even with all of us in the same room. I can't wait to use this app with remote users."

11 Mind Mapping Apps for the iPad

Mind mapping is a method that works for quite a lot of people. Brain storming, idea mapping, thought generation, think tanks – call it what you will. Traditionally done on large pieces of paper, why not use your iPad to create mind maps? You could use these for your own purposes, or “convert” those large flip charts into a smaller, digital version.
