Alabama Supreme Court Rules “Child” Applies to Preborn

Katie Gilbertson's curator insight, May 19, 2014 12:44 PM

This is related to gov and law because it discusses a decision made by Alabamans Supreme Court that unborn children are indeed CHILDREN.  It also mentions how chemicals, such as illegal drugs, can affect the unborn child which is why they made the final decision. I agree with their decision because it's not fair to the child who doesn't have a say in whether or not the mother should be taking these chemicals.

Siobhan Chantigian's curator insight, May 20, 2014 2:18 PM

The Alabama supreme court ruled that in abortion cases a preborn child is considered a person and has rights.  This relates to gov. And law because their Supreme Court has added to a law.
