This is another article that is about a middle class family in Des Moines who is really stuggling to make ends meet just to maintain that middle class status. 

 

The Pallwitz's are doing everything they can in saving money and cutting back on bills to save money to evenutally move into their own home and be able to be consitent in that middle class. 

 

They never take money for grantewd and spend their money wisely. They plan to homeschool there kids in order to save money and Dennis wife is a stay at home mom which also allows them to save.  

 

Neither of them are voting for either of the presidential canidates and are planning to write in there own votes.

Less than 10 days before the election, Barack Obama and Mitt Romney are making their closing arguments to America’s middle-class voters. Here’s a glimpse into the lives of three middle-class families in Iowa.

 

This is an article that talks about the middle class families in Iowa and how the recent recession and the high tax pay has affected them greatly. Three middle class Iowans speak out about what they have done through and how they feel about the upcoming election. 

 

They talked to Iowa professors  that say tthe majority of Iowans are of the middle class. This majority is angry and angry people sometimes dont always do the right thing. So if a portion of us are apart of the middle class we need to be rantional when it comes to voting and dont let our emotions get the best of us.

President Obama said his proposal to extend the Bush-era tax cuts for families making up to $250,000 would strengthen Americans’ finances.

 

Obama is pushing to extend the Bush-era tax cuts, that will save the middle class at least 2,000 or more in taxes cuts saving them money. If he is not re elected the Bush-era tax cut ends and Romeny will raise the taxes for the middle class and cut them for the rich. 

 

This article is giving us a good look on what is to come of our country with the upcoming election for president. Obama is reaching out to Iowans getting a good feel for hwo the middle class feels about the tax cut and how well it is benfiting the middle class. 

 

The article allows us to think about our future and gives us an idea of who really cares for the majority middle class.

When Jennifer and Mike Erickson faced rising costs for gas and food, including $140 every month just for school lunch for their two children, they worked longer hours and tried to cut expenses.

 

This article is about the Erickson family who speaks out about their struggles with being apart of the middle class. They have had to work extremely hard to get where they are today. 

 

Both Jennifer and Mike put in lots of overtime in at the jobs trying to make ends meet just to maintain the middle class status. Being apart of the middle class is a struggle because the cost of living has become some high. 

 

When it comes to the upcoming election Jennifer has made a decesion on how she is going to vote, but Mike is still undecided.

This is a blog about the middle class and the economy. The economy has never been this bad since the great depression and the middle class is the one suffering the most.

 

This blog gives good statistics  and a nice chart that gives the readers a good idea about the recession and the progress over the years. Obama is striving to make a change to help get us out of this recession and to help the middle class.
