Quiet: Introverts at Work

Quiet: Introverts at Work | Introverts are Awesome | Scoop.it
Introverts are a special breed; they thrive on small settings and constructed environments. Many introverts struggle to find a job suitable for their personalities, but http://www.bestmastersprograms.org/ has created an infographic entitled Quiet: Introverts at Work, detailing the strengths introverts have, and jobs best suited for them. Statistics show that up to 50% of our population can be characterized as introverts.Typically, introverts feel drained when around large groups of people for too long, focus on detail and take time to make judgments due to a difference in information processing, prefer quiet, calm working spaces, and make better one-on-one connections. While being an introvert is not an automatic sentence of social problems, 7-8% of people do suffer from a social anxiety disorder, and 1 in 8 shy teens are diagnosed with a social phobia. Someone suffering symptoms of a social phobia, such as trembling or shaking while in public, or nausea or dizziness while in front of others, should see a doctor. While being an introvert can make a job search difficult, there are careers that introverts flourish in.The positions outlined in this infographic offer quiet, solitary workplaces and minimal human interaction. This infographic also details tips for introverts on how to land the job-from the first interview question forward. Lastly, know that youre not alone. There are quite a few introverts that have made their mark in history, such as Albert Einstein, Rosa Parks, and Warren Buffett. Feel free to like, comment, and share this infographic from http://www.bestmastersprograms.org/ entitled, Quiet: Introverts at Work.

Wow! Introverts give out their energy, and that is why they get drained from too much of it. Good thought!
