One effect of globalization is global bodies (The United Nations, The World Bank, The IMF, etc) telling sovereign nations what to do. In this example they are telling a country to purposely devalue their currency. Most countries cringe at the thought of devaluing their currency!

In order for these countries to recieve any global assiatnce, they must do what a foreign body tells them; even if it's not what the country would prefer to do.

Even those of us who possess skilled trades will find our job opportunites dwindle as more and more of these jobs are outsourced. We are simply unable to compete with the "cheap" labor abroad.
