The Art of the 'Twinterview': How to Conduct an Interview on Twitter

The Art of the 'Twinterview': How to Conduct an Interview on Twitter | Interactive & Immersive Journalism | Scoop.it
I thought I had Twitter all figured out.  Then I decided to use the micro-blogging site to conduct a real-time Q&A with an author while unsuspecting followers watched.  How clever, I told myself.  How madcap! How wrong I was.  But here, tweeters, is how to do it right: 1.  Think days, not minutes. My first […]

Interconectados's curator insight, December 8, 2014 7:31 AM

How to Make an Augmented Reality iPhone App - AppReal | Interactive & Immersive Journalism | Scoop.it
As we mentioned in an earlier article, Apple has long-promised to make a major splash in the AR market. With the recent release of the Apple augmented reality developer framework, ARKit, consider the market properly splashed.

Building a complete, full-featured app is beyond the scope of a single article. However, we can show you, in simplest terms, how to create augmented reality apps for iPhone and iPad using the Unity 3D AR/VR platform with ARKit. Our simple example will display an AR point cloud superimposed over objects you can view with your Apple device.

Well, yes. But this suggests that somehow "society" is a nameless, faceless thing. Every human being is a part of society so how we encourage creativity, how we choose to be who we are, how we support those who are not the same as us and who add beauty to our lives makes a difference in how "society" influence what others think and do.

Update: Apple has updated its Clips app, bringing along a suite of new digital assets from the company itself to make your videos and photos a little more lively. New overlays, backgrounds and animated text are just a few of the new features available in the update.

Additionally, entertainment giant Disney has chipped in some content and the implementation seems fun. You'll basically be able to overlay your favorite Disney characters on your photos and even better, you can insert an animated character into your videos.
