To have a successful blog, it involves investing time and creativity. The post must contain useful information or no one will listen. Just because you are active on social media, does not mean you are accomplishing something. The posts should be productive. Quality is over quantity. Offering promotions makes viewers repost and visit your page more often. A big thing to avoid when blogging is spamming. This is create people to block you.
Holly Knowles's curator insight, May 2, 2014 11:46 PM

I found this article very interesting and useful, after discussing the importance of using social media in an IMC program it left me questioning well where do you start and how can you ensure it is effective?

This infographic demostates some key and some what obvious "rules" that can easily be overlooked. In order to have a successful campaign and utilise social media as a key marketing strategy, it is important to follow some sort of guidelines to ensure time and money isn't being wasted when integrating a social media platform into an IMC program and that it is going to be beneficial.

Regarding to the making promises towards customers I remember while I was doing my CO-OP in a Company which sales their products just to businesses so they informed me at the beginning of my work how important is to making my promises towards business as a Company’s sale representative. They required me to read daily promotion that Company offer to its customer and also while I was talking to customers I should check with my supervisor about any services and promises that I could offer in order to not giving an offer which wasn’t in the Company’s promotion file. As we know sometimes customer service and sales products to people who does shopping in Mall is much easier than sales the product to an organisation and try to satisfy them due to normally businesses have more knowledge how to get their services and anything that they should receive. However, these days businesses are pretty careful towards their promises and I think if they really offering something to customer even accidently wrong then they try to provide it for their customers due to not losing those unsatisfied customers.

The first half of this article does a good job recognizing the need for content marketing. However, your content marketing strategy should include both creating and curating. This is where Lean Content marketing comes in. Don't waste time creating content that already exists. Curating relevant content and providing your insight is how you can save time and money while staying visible online.

It makes so much sense!
