"During my dissertation study, a good percentage of the participants found they were more motivated when the instructor added personal touches to the feedback comments and discussion postings. These were high school non-completers...so perhaps ALL teachers should pay attention to this and not just online instructors? My challenge to my followers is this: follow the suggestions in this article for a semester... & record student's reactions. Is there a difference?"
